From AMAZING collaborations to fashion-forward individual pieces, we love H&M and having now seen what the store has on offer for us from February onwards, to say we’re excited is a little bit of an understatement. This SS11 they have taken inspiration from the′s.  Using a variety of textured materials – brushed suede, light wool, chiffon and cork; all encapsulating the seventies vibe. The colour palette is very neutral – with the emphasis being on olive green, tan brown, dusky pink and soft grey. We love the little punched hole suede waistcoat.  Rather than fringing, the detail of the hole pattern on this waistcoat is a perfect alternative and a great little addition to a SS11 maxi dress.
The leather bag in smoky brown and the olive green platform twist front sandals are classic seventies-inspired accessories.

Team these with skinny jeans for a modern twist, or if you want to channel Charlie’s Angel chic then go the whole hog and invest in some bell-bottom jeans. We also love this square neck navy and white dress.  The cute pattern of the little Scotty dogs is a welcome fun factor, whilst the cut on the arms adds a feminine touch.
